| SYNOPSIS | |
| KLAMPERT: I have a a pretty long standing of avoiding doing reviews of CD’s from people I know. I figured with this CD what harm could there be because I had never met him other than in the cloud of social media. Then I met him at the Forge Conference and I realized “oh crud…I really like this guy…what happens if I don’t like the CD”
If you read this site you know we are brutally honest and as an artist/musician myself I know how important “REAL” feedback is. So here it goes…Blatant and unabashed honesty. I FLIPPIN LOVE THIS CD. What the heck…seriously why has integrity and other people not picked him up. This is one fantastic worship album with brilliant vertical writing. It is Christ centered and is PERFECT for the church. On top of it being accessible it is also just nice to listen to because it doesn’t fall into the boring same old worship trap. I Won’t say it is cutting edge per say, but it is full of sonic goodness and the production is fantastic. Heck I even love the cover. |

| MAHONEY: When I found out that we were reviewing Josh’s album, I was a bit ambivalent about it. I was sure that it would be good, but didn’t expect a whole lot from an indie self-release like this. I mean, his website is on Blogger. My website is on Blogger, so you get my point. So, I was totally blown away with the quality and craftsmanship of this record. The songs are amazing, the production is slick, and the whole package works very, very well. Josh is a gifted anointed songwriter, whose heart pours out song after song. Forget mainstream and listen to this guy. | |
| VANCE: When I got Joshua’s album, I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what to expect. However, from the first few bars I knew this was going to be way better than I expected. Mr. Sellar has done a stellar job here. The sound is very mature, you’d think Joshua has been recording for years.
The songwriting is superb and the style of the songs will suit a broad range of churches. My favourites have to be “Greater”, “To The One”, and “Worship Rises”. There is not really a bad song on this album. Joshua has been involved with the very exciting Worship Rises project that is spreading across Canada. |
